We can provide you with just a tub faucet or we can design and remodel the bathroom of your dreams. You could purchase beautiful granite countertops for your kitchen or we could expand your current space to provide you with the kitchen of your dreams. Whatever your needs Studio 57 will provide you with impeccable design services and quality products. Here is an overview of our Design Service Options:

Design Service Option 1: Complete Design and Remodel

This option is a full service approach to your project and generally requires several meetings in order to fully identify and plan your kitchen or bathroom project. Such meetings consist of the following:

Step 1 In-Home Consultation: The purpose of the initial meeting is for the designer and homeowner to become acquainted and to discuss ideas for the project. A portfolio of previous projects would be available for viewing as well any information regarding Studio 57 and Michael & Son Services. At this time the designer will take measurements and notes regarding the needs and ideas of the client. The design process for a kitchen or bath is very exciting and even fun but it does require cooperation from both parties to see the project through. We feel with a thorough understanding between the designer and the homeowner the process can be productive and efficient for all parties.

Step 2 Proposal:  Within 2 days of the In-home Consultation the designer will submit a preliminary proposal via fax, email, or mail. The proposal will consist of two parts, one for labor and one for materials. The proposal will be detailed and will include all applicable model numbers and pictures of products. The designer will also prepare a 3D rendering of your design to be presented at the Design Presentation meeting. Please note that we offer this service free of charge and we ask that clients be considerate of the time and effort that the designer puts into your project. If you are not prepared to make a final decision please let the designer know ahead of time.

Step 3 Design Presentation: The purpose of this meeting is for the designer to present the homeowner with a design and proposal based on the information discussed in the previous meetings. The designer will have prepared a set of plans, elevations and 3D renderings as well as the product selections for door styles, finishes, tile, granite, etc. This meeting will provide the homeowner with a clear picture of how their new kitchen or bathroom will turn out. Many times minor to major changes may be made to the design. If so there may be a third meeting set up to allow the designer to make the changes and to present the final design. If, however, the homeowner is pleased with the design then the next step is Closing.

Step 4 Closing Meeting: The purpose of this meeting is to finalize the project and move forward with the ordering of the products. At this time the designer will collect 50% of the product cost for the job and 50% of the labor cost. The remaining balance for the product will be collected once the product is delivered. The remainder of the labor cost will be collected once the project is substantially completed.

Design Service Option 2: Product and Design Only

If you have already chosen a contractor or are a do-it-yourselfer we have a design service option to work for you. Simply bring in your plans or measurements along with ideas for your products and finishes and Studio 57 will provide you with a detailed estimate along with any necessary drawings to better help you visualize the project. Product Only services require that the products be paid for up front. Studio 57 ensures your absolute satisfaction upon delivery.

  Norcraft is our semi custom line. Again, a very affordable line with a number of beautiful finishes and door styles with a bit more flexibility in the design. This Cabinet Specification and Design Planner will aid in your selection of door styles, finishes, and accessories.

Canyon Creek is a full-custom cabinet line and offers both framed and frameless cabinets as well as a selection of cutting edge modern door styles and finishes. They also offer architectural wood carvings and accents to create a traditional or ornate feel for the space.

Design Service Option 3: Contractor Support

This service is geared for Contractors, Architects, Builders and Remodeling firms. We provide design for you and your clients as well as competitive pricing for products. This service allows you to focus on your portion of the business while we iron out the details of the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, office or any other space that may require cabinetry, tile, or plumbing products.
